THE EDEN PROJECT

The Eden Project in Cornwall, England, was a massive undertaking - converting a huge, exhausted clay pit into a global garden that reflects the natural diversity of our planet. The massive tropical and temperate biomes are packed with familiar and exotic plants, each bearing an explanation of man's relationship with that plant. A wide variety of exhibits leads visitors to reflect on the fragile state of our environment, and the amphitheatre is the perfect setting for the Eden Sessions, a series of concerts held each summer. The images shown here are manipulations of a set of pictures of the Eden Project taken one sunny summer's day.
