Kelmscott Manor

This beautiful Elizabethan manor, set beside one of the loneliest stretches of the Thames, was the former home of William Morris, the Victorian designer, painter, writer and philosopher. Morris lived here with his wife, Jane, and his friend Dante Gabriel Rosetti, whose portraits of Jane are some of the best-known examlpes of Pre-Raphaelite art.
