Radcot Bridge

This is the oldest bridge along the Thames, and parts of it date back to the 12th century. The stone was quarried at Taynton, just ten miles away, which also provided building material for Oxford's colleges, Windsor Castle and St Paul's Cathedral in London. The various bridges spanning the river show elements of architectural design that reflect the trends of almost a thousand years.
